Change in School Lunch Policy
Beginning on Oct. 1, we will be implementing a change in policy in the Food Service Program that will hopefully end large negative balances in individual accounts. Our policy is that no individual account may fall below $5.00(five) negative dollars. Beginning Wednesday, accounts with a larger negative balance that five dollars will be marked "inactive". Unless a person pays with cash or brings their account to a positive balance they will not be able to obtain a meal. Those persons will be provided a bread and butter or peanut butter sandwich but will not be able to obtain the meal provided by the food service.
