Recorder Concert kicks off "Music in our Schools Month"

March is Music in our Schools Month. Tuesday night at Nishna Valley, the third, fourth and fifth grade students from Malvern and Nishna Valley, and EMMS performed before a good sized crowd. The third graders opened the concert with four numbers. A recorder favorite, Zippy Toad, was featured in two of the songs. The students were asked which was their favorite -it was a split between the slow "Peaceful River" and "Zippy Toad Slide". . . . read more
