KYLE MILLER advances to Districts

On the day his brother, Johnathon Miller, earns his 100^th victory, Kyle Miller advances to the District wrestling tournament. At sectionals, Kyle won his semifinal match by a third period pin, then was defeated in the finals by decision. If Kyle places in the top two at districts he will qualify for the state tournament. The district tournament will be held at Missouri Valley on Saturday, February 13 at noon.

At sectionals, the rest of the team represented East Mills very well. The other grapplers all placed in the eight team tournament. Chris Formhals placed third while Jordan Pittmon and Brandon Visocky placed fourth. Fifth place finishers were Tanner Formhals, Johnathon Miller, and Royce Stortenbecker. Sixth place finishers were Dalton Morgan, Caleb Barney, and Travis Rolfe.
